I bought a bunch of wd-40 on sale at HD...you can keep the ear wax.

Since I'm not being inundated with earwax offers, I tried mineral oil.
It works. Coors, so did the veggie oil. But don't want it getting sticky.
I think a patinated pot that was sticky would leave something to be desired.
