Hi everyone,

I have this obsession with growing and training my own chorisia. Though it's mostly a fools errand and prompts foolish questions, I'm pretty much stuck with it. :)

The tree: One year-old sapling - Chorisia Speciosa - Floss Silk Tree, Brazilian Silk Tree
The region Zone 10a or 10b (Los Angeles - near the beach)

My question: Is it possible to get this to back branch lower on the trunk? Sorry for the potato cam picture, I will try to get a better one if anyone needs it.

It grows from branching at the top so I can't top the tree to shorten it. It's going to be repotted in January and I'd like to make a change in time for this next grow season.

Pictures of the tree would be a big help. Cant give real advice without them.

Also, update your profile with your location so we can give you appropriate advice.

Thanks
