I love ficus plants. Why? I dunno cause they rock and I remember my mom's ficus growing up that she had from a clipping ,she still has it . It's about 10 feet tall..I joke with her when she kicks the bucket I'm chopping it to a stump and making an epic bonsai out of it lol.
Any ways here are two beauty's I got. One I'm going to make a twin trunk informal upright. And this other one I just couldn't pass up this taper!! I have never seen one so nice this small... my questions to anyone is 1. should I do some light pruning and keep them in pots and 2. For the one with a nice taper should I cut off all the others coming out of the soil and make it a single trunk now or keep them to.help get the trunk fatter? Also would it be ok to put them in bonsai soil and pot now ( not to shallow )
