Cascade maple with natural shari

My cascade maple giving a shout out to fall 2023. And a glimpse of the natural shari.

It came with bark cracked...and a decent branch lost from a harsh winter I believe. As it healed...it compartmentalized and healed over. And revealed this lovely shari. I went in...understanding...there was damage...and it was worth the risk. It paid off.

I always thought the trunkline was lost with this one. The canopy out of proportion with the trunk.

This revamp took place awhile back...while on meds. Feeling frustrated I couldn't change my health issues...so frustrated with short term memory issues under medication. I decided to feel under control...and I took this into a more compact direction.
