Can someone with experience help on cypress kiparisus

New to bonsai and could do with some help on random tree ideas I have. Will that work or am I killing these poor trees? I live in Greece and the heat is very strong here and I'm thinking on leaving them on my back balcony this year since I cut alot of leaves off, I get alot of light but not direct sun , should I put them in the garden with full sun?

Yes, Cypress Cupressus sempervirens need direct sun to grow well, only keep them in shade after repoting or bending with wire then move them to the sun. I would only protect them in summer with a bit of shade but always give them some direct sun. If you can get seeds or plants of the wild Cypress C. sempervirens "Horizontalis" the wild form of Cypress, is better for bonsai than the cultivated "Stricta" form
