Yes, it is ERC and it is tough to bonsai but yours has a great blue color. Good luck.

Seems a bit too blue, and a bit too long in the needle to be ERC.

This was my original thought also. It looks just like a ERC but it is awfully blue.

There is a juniper within a stones throw that dropped that seed I reckon.

I find erc seedlings with this blue hue in my yard occasionally, along with the more typical green.

Birds often spread the seeds pretty far, so there's also a chance mom is nowhere nearby.
