Call for red maples (acer rubrum)

Thanks! I wish I had more time for more videos but I'm glad they were at least somewhat informative.
Videos take quite a bit of time to create and assemble. I appreciate your work.

I'm having something that looks like black spot on all my maples oaks and ash trees. The only thing that helps is mancozeb,,, but I have to spray once,,, sometimes twice a week to control it. It always comes back. I Foolishly bought a trident maple and in less then three days it started showing similar foliage problems ,,so whatever it is it moves very fast. The ash tree over my benches is also effected. With each Reinfecting each other. I looked at the Subdue product you mentioned and the cheapest price was over 100 dollars.. does that seems right? Is it really that effective? Is there a smaller size that doesn't cost 200 bucks?
Subdue is a systematic which I use in conjunction with Clearys in the spring as the buds start to push as a drench. It is not a cure all. Defoliation is most effective as the weather is warmer and drier as the new leaves form. My acer rubrum is spot free this year which is a first. It’s usually a matter of degree of how infected it gets, which is a matter of cosmetics. The subdue (Mefenoxam generically) is crazy expensive and is measured in drops per gallon so a bonsai club could have several lifetime supplies.

Hmmmm well I guess I'll have some extra for my great great grandchildren 😆 at this point 150 dollars to not have to spray twice a week would almost be worth it. Maybe I'll ask some people in my newly joined bonsai club of Columbus ohio.. I may get lucky I guess.

Make sure you read the label. You can only use it twice a season. I still spray copper sulfate prophylactically. Although I back off a little when the weather is drier.

Hello everyone! This is my first post ever I can take criticism and reality checks!

I have been absorbing information and checking the nut and videos for a couple of months now and have collected 3 trees yet!(Red Maple,Black Birch, Tamarack)

In Quebec the buds are just starting to swell after a long winter and I am quite eager to be starting the patient and long journey of bonsai!

The reason of this post is that I found a nice red maple growing on rocks with nice taper and smaller internodes than others in the area!

Leaving some pictures and asking what are your more expert opinions as to

1: chopping it (and a few ideas for chop placements) back in the ground where it is when appropriate time arrives and leave it be for a growing season
2: chop it and collect all at the same time when collection time arrives

Ps: sorry for shitty pics I rather put money on small trees rather than new phones
