Just got a leea coccinea rubra anyone ever try one? It’s got this beautiful dark burgundy foliage. And seems to ratify very well. As soon as I get some more going I’ll hack on the mother plant I think. I got it to have it as a specimen so propagation first because I love the look of the plant! Also got some young ebony flame crepe myrtles with similar dark foliage. Pictures when I get to work because they’re there right now. Just curious if anyone else has done anything similar.

PS also got a dwarf mussaenda in the clearance section. Pics of it too soon.

PPS none of them are bonsai yet just prospective materials. I want to start root training ASAP and growing out so any advice would be appreciated!
