Hello Everyone,

I’ve been using Green Dream Fertilizer Pellets 7-5-5 https://www.amazon.com/Bonsai-Fertilizer-Green-Organic-BonsaiOutlet/dp/B007P3WWL0 thus far for all of my slow release needs. As my collection is growing, I find myself in search of a cheaper alternative. The closest I’ve come is Phyta-Grow Pre-Plant 7-5-7 https://www.harmonyfarm.com/phyta-grow-pre-plant-7-5-7/

Will the slightly higher Pot Ash content be too much for my deciduous trees? What about my Dawn Reddwood?

Does anyone use another slow release pellet that I’m unaware of?

Thanks for any help,

Bobby

When I have time, I make my own, at about $15 for a year’s supply. I get better results from this than anything else I have ever used, including Biogold. My recipe is here:

thanks BVF. switching fertilizer has been on my mind this year....im still on inorganic slow release and wanting to try org. after listening to the soil science podcast on asymmetry
