Bougainvillea

Decided to do something with this bougainvillea today.

It’s been in this little pot, resting on the ground.

When it recovers I plan to make the movement more dramatic.

I think I would have tilted it a little to the right instead of potting it straight up, but just me. Pretty vibrant magenta flowers.

I’ll add these two to the same thread. i planted them in my yard to screen my one neighbor’s hideous yard and pool. This was five years ago and I never could figure out why they looked like crap all the time. Then one day I happened to be home when some Century link guys were working back there, stepping all over them. Mystery solved.
This one has an interesting base.
I put this one in the pot the magenta one came out of. These are purple.

Strangely, mine seem to bloom more inside under the lights than they do outside for the summer. And they get full sun outside.

What I got from @Leo in N E Illinois . He has regular and acid lover's, I have both kinds.

Just ask him. I would get up and look at the jar but I'm pretty comfortable on the couch!

I generally don't bring plants inside but bouganvillea in bloom and orchid are great for short stay at kitchen table.

Unfortunately, I don't have a choice. None of my tropicals would survive my winters.
