Bougainvillea - Barbara Karst

I like every species I don’t have :) I was a paramedic and a helicopter pilot. I also had 2 bonsai businesses. SoCal is hot and dry. Florida is hot and humid. The main difference where I am at ( Ocala National Forest) is that there is no smog and I have well water for my bonsai’s. It really makes a huge difference.
I knew you held greater responsibility than most, simply in the way you type, and the words you chose to use!

Two bonsai businesses is EXCITING. Did you focus on mature, collected specimens, or more "pre-bonsai" material?

Mostly the typical fast selling stuff. I was in 2 malls and did some shows. Ficus, baby jade, serissa, Chinese elms, nana junipers. Stuff you typically see for sale. I really enjoy doing small scenery stuff. Here is 2 olives and a cork bark elm

Very nice!

I enjoy structure work, when it comes to clay. I make a decent amount of "Tiny Tree Forest" structures/scenery implements ect. With clay. (I do love throwing pots, though)

There's a few people here doing pretty sweet group/forest plantings.

As you wander(scroll) around you'll discover more... I don't want to spoil anything.

I love all types of art. I have made tiny detailed Harleys and 3 ft tall suits of armor, all made from copper. I also work with clay and am working on a Bigfoot with a monkey on a stick. I almost have the head almost done, here’s a blurry pic ( which is normal..lol ) Enjoy your weekend! Enjoyed the chat :)
