Bonsai shadow thread

I wonder if you could move the tree up against a wall and spray it with water then remove the tree and photograph the wall?
 
Another ex-hedge that somebody didn’t want anymore. Don’t judge just yet, I just got it a few days ago.

Shoot this one a week before @wireme started this thread. Was out in the "cold frame" with the 'kine on a unseasonably warm evening with a warm wind a' blowin......Dawn Redwood in a plastic tote that might need an excavator to extract.......nice!!;):rolleyes::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
 
Not a shadow per se, rather in the shadows .......A Shore Pine and Phoenix graft Juni with at the base a character from the Muppets?

Needed to reboot this thread......
Sometimes the shadow of the tree looks better......wonder if I should use the sheer trimming method next summer.....not.
