I have a Blue Atlas cedar that I have had for about 5 years and am working on today. Just wondering if I am supposed to pull all lower needles off of branches like is done on other conifers. Help appreciated.

Pulling lower needles gives the tree a tidy appearance. As far as I know, it serves no horticultural function. Do it if it makes your cedar look neater.
