I would love to see an old conifer of some sort in it. Pine or Larch, I think, a Juniper may tend toward being more refined even with dead wood to fit in this pot.

True story I had a teammate in college from Norway named Joachim, but his dad was named Thor. An inch and an ounce shy of a shithouse and named "Thor"...go figure. Needless to say, junior was well behaved.

A gnarly old larch would be great. As I suggested with the arborvitae it needs a lot of deadwood and the dragon head peaking up through.
