Backyard just about done :)

Real nice chopper, I like the short bench over in the middle right of the photo. Gives a nice balance to the fenceline benches. more photos!!!

Looks good. I like the bamboo screen on the right. How tall do you expect it to grow? What did you have to do to make sure it doesn't get away from where you want it to grow?

Glad winter is coming on then I don't have to feel bad about not creating something like this. Looks great! You should be very proud of your hard work!

Well done!
The balance between full size trees and trees on pedestals is beautiful!
Love it !

It's a clumping variety so it won't run - I planted a test patch in the ground at my folks place and it stays in the clumps very well. Several years and no running. Gotta make sure and not plant a running variety.

Are the individual stands by the fence buried into the ground? Interested to see closer pics, I'm planning something similar.

The stands have bases and are freestanding so they can all be moved around the rock just goes up the bases a bit. I need to finish the edging along the bed here and then I can smooth out the rock a bit.

Very well thought out space. I like all the little details, and the cactus boxes! Looks like you have a few big projects going on, and a whole lot of material...

I built a threaded pipe stand similar to the one you have there. I'm getting mixed reviews on it (wife doesn't like it much), but it would be dead easy to replicate. How do you like the one you're using?

It was actually relatively expensive i think about $70 worth of materials compared to like $10-$15 for the wood stands. Saying that the wood stands take way more time and require power tools etc. I like the look of the metal stand kinda but not the galvanized finish. I got a few thin pieces of metal just to look at and i think square steel tubing would work way better. You just need someone who welds - I got a guy :) The threaded stand is super easy to assemble ( 2 mins ) and is easy to get the stuff for at home depot etc. and requires really no tools at all to assemble except maybe a screwdriver to attach a piece of wood on top and a few screws so I do like that aspect. The other prob is Im finding it not so easy to paint/coat the galvanized pipe - I was gonna try flexseal ?

Prep with Trisodium Phosphate use any metal finish. Lowes has a video on it -
. We had other odd DIY projects at the old place and it work well.

I need to show my wife these pictures when she complains about me having too many trees. I can then say, "but look at this guys yard...see, you're lucky with how many I have." Seriously though, beautiful collection and setup. RESPECT.

Nice tip. Thanks. I was just going to try the black coated pipe next, but this give better options.
