Artemisia tridentata (Sagebrush)

I got permission to collect Sagebrush at a construction site in Taos, NM the other day. The land is covered with them there. If it does well, I'll go back for some larger specimens. We're in our summer monsoon, so we're starting to get some good moisture and moderate temperatures.

Any updates? I just collected 2 in october and have my fingers crossed that they will pull through.

A couple of branches died (I think they drop branches very easily), but the tree’s alive! I’m giving it cold protection this first winter.

I got mine on bottom heat...they seem alive so far. At least the leaves haven't dried out yet
