Hi,

I don't found too much information about this 5 needles pines.
Just read that 5 needles pines are less vigorous than 2 needles. Is true?

This pine grow really well in my climate.

Information are welcome !
Thanks

Try em!

Less vigor can be a benefit if used as such.

Grows well in your climate is really the only necessary trait.

*eyes wide, rocking back and forth, giddy with anticipation*

Haha !
This tree is used widely in France, I have seen them in arboretums, in hôtel, gardens, city ....

The needles become naturally quite short.
And it doesn't seem suffer much. In my climate, my local arboretum has planted 3 Pinus Hwanghanensis and 1 has died, other doesn't look really healthy and needles are about 20cm.

I think now about pinus taeda (need moist but I'm on the road whole week), Pins Palutiformis or Pinus Armandii/Wallichiana and P.Yunnanensis (quite same)

I make some study and research for choose a pine. I want to try One and understand my tree!

My biggest problem is indecision 🤣😢 I don't have any garden but just a small windows where it's almost full of plant 😆
