Anyone familiar with bonsai import Co.

Wow nice and very exspensive trees. Never heard of them either and you think if they were pushing out trees this beautiful people would of heard of them. Maybe they are a middle man who sells trees for others. Explaining why so much money because they need to get their cut

I thought about the Kennett too when I saw where they were and the quality and provenance of the trees. I've never heard of them, but most of these trees are out of my range so maybe the people who can afford them know who the vendor is.
Definitely Kennett collection. Wow amazing stuff

Just saying they have sold trees on Facebook, so maybe reach out to them on there. Those trees are far too expensive for me, unfortunately. As Judy stated, many of the sources for the trees are noted in the details.
Have they actually sold any? I know some were listed.

For what it's worth... they have never responded to my email.

I see they are selling trees in the Bonsai Auction on Facebook...

All I see is a "private bonsai garden" that is "growing yearly". Nothing about retailing or selling trees.

Seems strange... particularly in conjunction with the fact that they don't answer emails. But I guess they do business with people who drop by personally, and they have all the business they are looking for via word of mouth (?)

Well I already have one tree from them, and have delivery of a second one today. They are great to work with, and have fabulous stock. If anyone wants, feel free to PM me for more details.

Telephone call might be more effective? Judy seems to know the secret incantation for response. ;-)

Word of mouth -- this surplus sale sold out in minutes.

LOL I'm not in the market for Japanese import trees. I was just responding to all the people who were asking who this "new" vendor was who showed up selling expensive trees and who used a generic name and didn't respond to emails :) Why don't they just use "Kennett Collection" as a seller name(?) Why doesn't their web site refer to they fact that they sell trees? Must be an East Coast thing. But since Judy confirms who they are, we don't need for them to answer their "contact us" form :)

The surplus sale, by the way, was a completely different thing. There was no confusion about who the seller was, and the trees were available for pre-sale viewing. Terms of purchasing were clear, etc. If it sounds like I'm knocking them, I'm only knocking their marketing practices :) They certainly own and import a lot of nice trees.

Your reaction is the same one I had when I stumbled across the web site a few months ago. For me, it rang a lot of Internet scam bells. It's legitimate however. I don't think selling trees is a real priority for the seller though. More like a way to get rid of some of the extras.

This place came up in my Facebook feed over the weekend. It's in Delaware and um, WOW, $24,000 imported Japanese junipers. etc. I've never heard of them , even though they say they've been in business for 15 years...

Hold onto your hat. The prices gave me a nosebleed...
Those numbers were giving me anxiety... I had to get out!!!!
