As much as I love bonsai, I’m starting to accept the fact that I don’t have the time or space for it at the moment. Caring for plants brings me joy and I’ve always been a creative type so when I learned about bonsai in 2020, I was over the moon, but it just requires more time, effort, and space than I can offer at the moment but perhaps kusamono may be more doable for me. I just don’t know where to go to learn. Hoping maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

Bonsai Mirai put out a 2+ hour presentation with Young Choe on how to Master the Art of Kusamono. It’s on YouTube

There are other videos etc, but no course that I can recall. Might want to check around to see when Young Choe is at your local club. She regularly makes the rounds and was at our club two months ago.

Also Soon Chuah is another really good teacher. She’s out of the Houston area.

Good Luck,

This video from Peter Warren isn't great production quality but has good material; the earlier part may be especially useful for you.
