Walking home at the moment and it's nice and sunny, all I can think of making sure my bonsai is in it! God. What have I become.

Ha Ha! It only gets worse... I'm worried about being away for a few days this holiday weekend. It's only sticks in pots but I got lots love invested.

Yeh on the outside it may seem silly but anything, whether it be a living breath tree or a game on ps4, if you invest time in to something, you are gonna care about it.

I've just seen your attachment @Underdog, wow looks great. Nice big open garden and plenty of bonsai trees! Ones even taking a swim.

When you get further into it/hooked you'll know not many of those are really Bonsai, but just trying to be

There are some really good gardens out there. Check out Jerry's stuff on here and flicker I think also from UK

Swimmer is Bald Cypress. Supposed to be cold hardy. We'll see next Spring

Hey man, they can be bonsai if they wanna be, don't belittle their dreams poor little guys.

Yeh I already want another bonsai, a bit more unique this time though.. Thing is, pros and cons of it.. Con is that I've yet to learn so much about the Chinese elm so learning another at same time might not be good. Pro is that I'm comfortable with maintaining the Chinese elm at the moment, and bonsai take a long time to nurture so if I can get a new one, it can be growing in that time.. If that makes sense..
