Simple question.

I realize most deciduous trees taken from the wild with little root mass should probably recover at least two years after the initial potting, but is this true of elms and their vigorous root growth?

I reported a small one earlier today and it had produced a lot but my others are significantly larger.

They were all collected last spring and recovered well producing several yards of growth lol.

Thank you for your help.

'Several yards of growth' says this one is well recovered from transplant.
Elms can sometimes be slow but more usually quick to recover from transplant.
Subject to confirmation from photos I'd say time to get into that one.

This is what I was gonna say... If Ulmus is happy and healthy.. you WILL know it. 🤓
