Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of air layering a brush cherry? Is it possible? How did it go? Is there any specific advice or nuggets of wisdom you have to help the process go well?

I have an s shape brush Cherry that isn’t really doing it for me and I think it could be made better and more interesting by splitting it in two.

Many thanks!

I have not actually layered any. Don't really need to as they come up as weeds all through the garden so I just wait until the trunk is a good size then transplant.
They do grow easily as cuttings which is usually a good indicator it will layer easily too.

Oh that’s cool! Good to know they grow well from cuttings! Thanks
