Going to be interesting what you do with the 2 lower chunks with o e live branch each but good use of the material so far . I’m happy you did not throw it back in the swampI like it. Now I just have to develop the branches.

I am “fattening” them to develop the roots under them. Then I will chop them short to develop ramification. Come to think of it that will be for all the branches. They will be left alone and I will have a late summer chop for all the branches. I find the internodes to be generally shorter after the summer chop. I will wire the shoots after that chop.Going to be interesting what you do with the 2 lower chunks with o e live branch each but good use of the material so far . It could be collected with the aforementioned tractorThe tree was laid down by the storm. It was only 15 deg from horizontal. It was in the way of the tractor. My only thought was to save it from being discarded. It grew in a crowded grove and simply squeezed itself up through a crowded canopy to reach light. As a result the three branches grew straight up and were sparse.
I like it. Now I just have to develop the branches.
