Accidentally repotted a pomegranate out of season...

Bayer 3 in 1 worked for me. I had a bunch on my Crape Myrtle this year and the 3 in 1 seems to be knocking them down. so if the soap doesnt work you can try that too.

Good to know I appreciate it.

Bayer is awesome just remember a few things. 1) DON'T allow anything to flower for a while after you use Bayer and like products. We just want to be careful with our little Bee friends. 2) DON'T eat the fruit for a while as it is not super good for you.

I don't think I can expect any fruits or flowers anytime soon but will definitrly keep in mind, thanks!

indeed, thinking that letting a plant grow freely the whole year is "losing a season" is the most widespread misconception about bonsai, you usually lose much more time if you DON'T let the plant recover after such work (if not simply losing the plant itself)
I really like this statement. To reach final stage of Bonsai, it takes one for many years. So if one just loses 1-2 years to keep the tree healthy, it is worth.

Agreed. I have a lot to learn but that sentence put in perspective just how much. Luckily the drive to learn is the fun.

It was so windy one afternoon it was blown clean out of its pot :x

Luckily it kept chugging right along, here it is today with a little fruit. I've only done minimal pruning to see how it responds. I cut 2 branches and they both died back, lesson learned to always leave some foliage. Next spring when I repot I'll choose a front and begin working on the nebari.
