This was going to be my fourth year of putting on an end of the year bonsai display at school. Unfortunately, covid got in the way. Disappointing!
However, all is not lost! I had a former student email me and say that he was taking up bonsai! He got one of those bonsai seed kits and now is the proud owner of some new seedlings.
I emailed his parents and told them I would like to give him a couple of trees he can work on while he is waiting the 5 years for his trees to grow.
So, I got some bullet proof AZ trees from my collection and a beginning bonsai book to give him. His parents will swing by the school tomorrow and pick them up.
