I'll be there. I haven't decided on a day yet. Saturday would work better for my schedule, but Sunday's Ficus workshop with Suthin looks interesting.

Suthin is doing a Ficus Demo on Saturday 8:00 to 12:00. I will be at the convention the whole
time as a vendor. I am taking the scroll making workshop on Saturday. Are you going to try
and enter any trees in the Exhibit ??? I have a couple of trees I am taking a wait and see attitude.
Hoping they fill in and develop by then. In the mean time just fertilizing and giving as much sun as possible.

I've looked over the schedule, and that's probably my favorite listed demo. I wonder why there are none Sunday afternoon? I bet someone ends up doing one in that slot. I may go multiple days, but it's sort of expensive (in my opinion).

I'm really wanting to do a tree workshop, and the Ficus one interests me the most. So that's where I'm focusing now. If they'd schedule a cool demo that afternoon, it would be a perfect day.

Which vendor are you? If you've been there before, I'm sure I've seen you.

I don't have anything exhibit worthy. Maybe someday, but frankly, showing trees isn't even on the priority list at this point.

I seem to recall some posts along time ago regarding pots

If so, will you be vending ???

good memory. I'm currently working on growing some arms on that Ficus. It may be a few years before he's ready for the general public. :o

Pardon my answering for Paul, but yes, he definitely make pots. I bought a very nice cracked glaze one from him last month at Kawa's show.

Did you go to Wigert's Open House this year, seeing that you are
in Ft. Myers...

No I did not, although I've been out there a couple of times. I just moved back here from college recently, and joined the Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida this January. Shame I missed the open house but there's a good chance I'll still be here next November. Nonetheless, I'm pretty excited about the BSF Convention.

Thanks Mat.

It was great to see you again.

I wish we had more time to talk, but things were pretty busy there on Saturday.

See you in May.

Regards,
Paul

This years Wigert's open house is gonna be pretty good. They are bringing
in Charles Ceronio from South Africa, who specializes in pierneef style,
flat top bonsai.
Stop by and say hello to everyone here at BSF, seeing that 3 of us will be
vending. :)

Are you setting up on Thursday afternoon ???

Yeah. Were you there last year? I brought 100 bags last year, may do the same this year. Ill bring trees too, just not 8 tables worth.

I'll stop by and say hello, will you be setting up on
Thursday afternoon as well ???
