1st attempt Chinese Elm Cuttings Successful!!!

I definitely want to get an actual meter so I don't have to rely on my wonky dehumidifier experiments. Its going on my bday list along with some pots for my monster trident I got this winter. Hopefully the bday budget allows for both.
Oh wow how much was the trident? That and japanese red maple are the two I want the most

is there a thread on this?
Not yet. Once I get finished with adding on some grafts I'm going to post it. And I've got some before/after shots from a workshop I brought it to a couple weeks ago.

Looking to buy a trident or a maple, anywhere reliable that won't break the bank?

I've got everything locally. Got three saplings for free, seedlings for $5 a pop and my big guy for waaaayyyyyy less than it should have been sold for. Clubs make the world go round.

@power270lb not trying to hijack the thread, but here's some trident cuttings I took about 2 weeks ago. These are all last years growth, but all the same grow conditions I laid out before.

So, you should get good results soon, and get some tridents. They're weeds 😅20210310_222928.jpg

Bro I'll buy anything u can get. Found some sites with trunks 3" big for 100-180. Also some sites where they're sold out but much smaller trees for 50-60 bucks.
