Dug this spring in April and boxed. Still looking good with no tip loss or anything. I am calling this a successful collection. Goal now is just to get it super healthy and robust so some wiring can be done this fall or next spring. Would love some virtuals from people with their thoughts. My gut tells me the tree is the low left new growth. Maybe with air layers of the rest as their own trees.

I also dont know the specific variety. Im thinking its J. Chinensis "Hetzi but the foliage appears bluer than what Ive seen in photos. J. Virginian "Hetz" is another option maybe.

Pretty much two or three days later after the above photos, the low branch, which had been fine all year through collection til now changed color. My thought is too much fertilizer immediately applied. the rest of the tree is still good. My other collected junipers are all good also and have not gotten any fertilizer. Note to self... dont fertilize same year as collected or wait til growth is robust. I removed the fertilizer and am hoping the low branch recovers....
