I can imagine that if they did, it would have been a massive under taking which could explain the delay (not the bouncing destination though).

With any of the shipping companies it is a pain when you have to try to resolve something. And actually speak to the “right person.” I’ve had problems with all 3.

In a 'similar' situation for a new battery for my wife's Kindle, my postal clerk placed a note of arrival in our PO box. OK, SO I go to the desk to recieve such and it is not there. They look and "Look" and say 'sorry".
I went back two days later and insisted they take a thorough look.
Found it.
USPS has lost credibility just as the balance of the Fed...
sad. If they never find it I'll make another hopefully as similar and ship it to you free, vis UPS.

The party at the desk asked what it is, liquid,fragile, batteries, flamable, etc.....I responded that it was " ceramic pot". She did the rest. I did not ask questions. Paid, took the receipt and left......

Go to the post office and ask for them to give you an update in person. If they say they can't tell them you want to talk to a supervisor and show him all this BS messages you have been getting. They will get you an answer. The post office that serves my area have a phone number you can call and they will update you on the phone, if it was miss delivered, they will have the carrier go track the package.
