Uncle, Are you fully moved/settled in PA?

Both are nice but I liked the first one better. The stand is a bit higher and more simplistic. Just my humble preference.

I guess my minimum bids not going to cut it. I thought I am the top 10 percenter but it turned out am the bottom 1% when it comes to funds for bonsai.

I think I will bid for all of them at the minimum price and see how many I will get. Can you imagine if I win a few. I have heard a lot of people don't go for the beautiful girls because they afraid of rejection.... This could be one of those chance. :D

Sorry to hear that it has not improved. I think it is a lost cause but I would just leave everything alone and hope for the best. The chance is very slim though. I hope you have other trees in case this one didn't make it. This is a lifelong hobby have a few more to go out and enjoy the...

Am also arrived at this stage. Lost a few good/old trees that really hurt but I have way too many trees to.... I like your attitude about life.

Did the medium in the air layer part of the tree got dried out? If not I afraid the top is going to die fairly quickly... a total collapse of all the leave and the trunk/limbs will start turning black.

I would say... enjoy the flowers.

Is that a dissectum JM? I don't see any trait of dissectum in the leave at all. It looks more like the weeping palmatum that @Cadillactaste has (I have one too but can't seem to recall the name right now). That should look really nice in the future.

At this time, I would put it where it gets morning sun and water when the soil looks dry and not doing anything else.

Thank you for updating the thread. It seems to look worse than before... that means it not going in the right direction. I never have good outcome from a tree that drooped their leave like yours. Fingers crossed.
