Anyway, I shelled about 60 seeds tossed them in some water with a little honey...
I deeply water at least 2x a day (3x when 110F and higher) and run my overhead spray 6x a day for 2 minutes. The overhead sprays over the top of my shade cloth, in essence creating an evaporative cooler. Helps a lot when its 120+. :-)

I'll guess Simpson's Stopper (Myrcianthes fragrans). Fantastic bonsai species. One that has been on my bucket list for years. Just a guess however, I could be wrong (and probably am).

Yeah crepes should layer super fast as you can technically do log size cuttings with no trouble. Try angling the bottom of the layer to give yourself a little movement leaving the ground.
Here’s my little 2 year old cuttings today. The two middle ones I’m actually trying to work on more veg growth. It’s so hard here they want to flower all the time. I’m trying to decide what to do with at one in the cement tub… it’s got significant dead wood that should be carved by someone...
