You need to get out of your Liberal Mind Set and think Out of the Box a little...Trump will be a Great President, Re-establishing our USA role on the Global Chessboard...Bringing back a new level of Conservatism....Only so much he can do regards Jobs because the Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Mexicans have Gutted the Global Economy and that will not change any time soon if ever...As far as Popular vote goes Trump was a landslide in the Electoral College and that is the way our Founding Fathers wanted the voting to work in order to see all the folks of all the states get a Fair shot at being represented....

As I sit here this Morning having a Coffee and cleaning a few Handguns I reflect back on how good Life has been for me, last week I visited our towns Memorial to those Fallen Hero's of America in Bygone years...
Some Bonsai Pruning later today...

I always find it funny how folks on the right always seem to have to go through and check off their list of "Manly" Stuff they did that day... and how everyone of them have the exact same list. Clean Gun, Fold Flag, Visit Memorial, Stand For Pledge of Alligence, Go to Church, Attend Picnic, Eat Apple Pie, Think and Speak as One Collective Unit... Believe in Alternative Facts...

On Top of this, they always feel the need to make sure everyone knows what they did. And how "Patriotic" they are... Like anyone actually cares? That by them doing these things, they are somehow more American, I guess, than others who do not?

You are a sad and irreverent person...

You are a sad and irreverent person...
Well... OK.
I will take that as a compliment!
Still doesn't change the fact that you feel the need to interject useless bits of info into a discussion, that millions of other Americans do, or might not do as well.

I mean, perhaps I did the exact same thing? Perhaps I cleaned my gun as well? Anyone who is not a convicted felon can easily purchase a gun. They are not really that expensive, I mean most TV'S cost more, and everyone has one one of those, and most have more than one. You don't have to be Republican or even American to own one... a lot of other countries have them as well.

And just about every family living in the States, and even those of Mexico, and US Territories like the Somoians, have at least one family member, if not more who have died in some war or another that the US has been in... So, going to a Memorial is nothing only one side does as well.

It is for some strange reason, what one side feels the need to always "Tell" folks they did...
Not sure why?

It always seems so trivial...

Growing up in a Family that always Traveled... I had seen more Memorials and Historic American sites both here and abroad, by the age I was 10, than most see in their entire lives... but never seemed to feel I was anymore "Special" for seeing them. Lucky perhaps? But, not more Special... and definitely, not more "American".

Something wrong with this train of thought... It's as though One feels they are more "Entitled " to the claim of calling them self American. You hear it all the time. My favorite, is when these same people talk about how they pay "Taxes"... like no one else does? Well, Donald doesn't apparently... Perhaps he is "Less American"? Perhaps, this deligitimizes him as a Prez. If you don't pay Taxes, you surely cannot be American... Right? And you sure a shit, should not be able to complain about the struggles of the common man, Right? Seeing you don't actually have to encounter any of the problems most Americans actually face?

Just for the record, I have pushed all the right buttons to bring out the real LWL's
There you go again... over estimating the power of your importance and your actions.

You are no special Snowflake... In fact, I actually commented first if you recall? And you responded... so, I followed up to your response.

I think you are now greatly overestimating the importance of some silly thread, on the back pages of a Bonsai Forum?

This is no "Great National Debate" we have going on... I mean, perhaps for someone as yourself, it might be? But, you would be surprised if you actually got out in the Real World more often.... that not many, if any... actually know this site exists.... and you might be surprised to learn as well, that I commented at the thread long before you even joined the conversation.

Had little then, and has little now... to do with you Snowflake. ..

AlainK... your Over-Reaction to Reality is laughable if not so sad.

Bolero, you who sport a Spanish name and apparently forgot about where you came from - unless you stole an immigrant name because you were ashamed of your roots, your "Under-Reaction" to what is the plain, obvious Truth is really nonplussing, flabbergasting, I can't believe that you believe in those blatant racist, fascist lies!

Franco, Muussolini, Hitler, and many more lured decent people into barbary. Are you proud to revive that now?...

What kind of a man are you?

You're boasting about your guns, and how "big" you are, demeaning everybody else on earth to have a senile crook lead you to your grave?

Hatred, racism, and that will only lead you to decadence. The rich will get much richer (and they don't care about "walls", they'll know where to put their money), and the meek shall inherit the shit. That's what you want?

Shall I rejoice? No, I'll always fight racism and fascism.

“Ignorance is strength.”

SCHLAGETER: Good old Fritz! (Laughing.) No paradise will entice you out of your barbed wire entanglement!

THIEMANN: That's for damned sure! Barbed wire is barbed wire! I know what I'm up against.... No rose without a thorn!... And the last thing I'll stand for is ideas to get the better of me! I know that rubbish from '18 ..., fraternity, equality, ..., freedom ..., beauty and dignity! You gotta use the right bait to hook 'em. And then, you're right in the middle of a parley and they say: Hands up! You're disarmed..., you republican voting swine!—No, let 'em keep their good distance with their whole ideological kettle of fish ... I shoot with live ammunition! When I hear the word culture ..., I release the safety on my Browning!"

SCHLAGETER: What a thing to say!

THIEMANN: It hits the mark! You can be sure of that.

SCHLAGETER: You've got a hair trigger.

When I was 14 or so, I would spent most of my weekends trimming the hedges of the local bourgeois.

It was sometimes hard to keep up with my schoolwork, I didn't have a father who bought a woman from Slovenia to fuck, take care of the house, and raise children. He had his faults, but he was a decent man, not a pimp. My mother is not a "trumpette".

KRZ-0019b.jpg

My father crosed the Channel to fight the fascists, he cheated on his age.

KRZ-0017.jpg

And he didn't like the priests and the nationalist-capitalists that threw all his kins and friends into hell, many of them, including his older brother, who gave their lives for billionaires, German, French, British, American billionaires whose grandsons and granddaughters are still making profit from their sacrifice.

Yes, I'm what you call a "liberal": I'm a free-thinker, a socialist (OMG!), an atheist (OMG!), for I don't believe in bullshit, "alternative truth" and the gross lies your new administration is vomitting.

It took me half a year to buy my first guitar. At that time, I thought that the US was a land of freedom.

I learnt songs from Pete Seeger and Woddy Guthrie - I didn't know what "communists" were, and frankly didn't care a fig! I was a teenager with dreams of fraternty, I was just thinking... But -Bang! Bang! Bang!

So that's the kind of world you want to leave for your kids?

Do you have any children?

"Bolero":

PS:
Maurice Ravel was a French composer, Zbigniew Rybczyński a Polish filmmaker

I don't think that anyone wants to stop the U.S. from finding solutions to the problems she faces... and at some point American will find a President that will find real solutions to these problems without blaming the rest of the world for the situation that she finds herself in, and won't expect those same nations to pay for it.

IMHO, the solutions are there... but the inactivity to make things right, makes me think that the American Government(s) is/are happy with the status quo.

Oh, "Dalmat", you seem to have learnt your lessons from the Ustaše :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ustaše

It's good to see that children learn from their parents, that we, as parents, can teach our children the values we believe in.

Got presents for you - don't jerk off!

Now I understand your problem.

Well, I can understand you don't want to learn anything. You've made the right choice: someone will tell you what to think so it can save you the effort of thinking by yourself.

Very clever.

In a few years' time you'll re-invent the guillotine - oops, you've already got the death penalty for the freaks you've raised in your bosom, sorry. forgot for a while how advanced your society is.

How's your bazooka doing? No pain in the hand-grenades I hope :)

"Happy" next four years, an era of happiness for all - I mean, all the billionaires that are, er.. making you great again ! But don't fence yourself in :p

You really are a twit. What do you think ' learnt songs from Pete Seeger and Woddy Guthrie' says about you - you projectionist you( to coin a phrase).

" When I hear the word culture ..., I vote TRUMP!"

No. You don't vote for anyone here, so we really don't care what you think. You're just a typical euro-weenie who thinks that their musings have any impact or importance to anyone but themselves.

BTW I heard guthrie and seeger live when I was young ( along time ago). I lived in Duchess County NY for 40 years while seeger made believe he was a champion of the oppressed as he sailed up and down the river on his insipid boat. I understand what their motives were and they had nothing to do with uplifting the 'oppressed'.
