I'm no pro but it's no boxwood (boxwood is evergreen (non-conifer) and has tiny leaves), when did u pot it, perhaps if it's strong you could chop it (grow is fat and chop it low).?

To be honest, it's very hard to say what it is from those pictures. Def not boxwood.

@Jarod Perdichizzi - there is a long running joke on this forum, where the answer to everything becomes ''foemina'' as in Juniper chinensis var foemenia. The joke initially started in a thread about identifying a tree. ''Foemina'' was an absurd guess at the time. The joke evolved to throwing in ''foemina'' in any thread just to be absurd. There is no personal slam, or insult meant by it. It is a hazing of sorts, welcoming you to the forum. Stick around a while, this is a fairly light hearted bunch with good depth of knowledge luring between the pranksters.

when more leaves have opened, post a few more pictures. It is hard to guess with leaves only partially expanded. A picture of a fully expanded leaf would really help.
