Can anyone help me ID what sort of weird wizardry fungus this is?
This is not in my bonsai pots, but growing in my front yard. I have a xeriscaped yard and these growths were pushing up from under the rocks. I thought it was tar or some sort of rock from the asphalt. We had fiber cable being installed in our neighborhood recently so I assumed it was from that. But it’s very soft to the touch and breaks up somewhat easily. Weird to say the least.
