those are perfect. i was just thinking of getting some 5 gal buckets with lidsSaw these soil sieves on Amazon.
Like the fact these actually fit in the top of a bucket without falling off or into the bucket.
I've always disliked the typical bonsai ones with the replaceable screens since they don't fit in the bucket as well and the screens fit kinda wonky.

Nice. You get it at a show or did you make the drive to MI? GWG is 15min away from me. Good stuff.
I got it off the Facebook auctions so they shipped it to me. I'm in Milwaukee so it's a bit of a drive.Nice. You get it at a show or did you make the drive to MI? GWG is 15min away from me. Good stuff.![]()
That is awesome. Metalwork is a lost art. He should make industrial furniture.Commissioned this heavy duty wire cart from a local welder. (The guy in the picture is the welder, not me.)

I missed the recommendations but, coincidentally I had purchased a bunch of them several years back thinking they might be useful in my new hobby. I even purchased some lids and bought some drainage tubs where the bottoms are pre-drilled with a bunch of holes and they are made to nest inside the deeper tubs.A couple bus tubs as they are well recommended on this forum...
I absolutely love bussing tubs and also highly recommend them. They’re not only useful for things like soil mixing, repotting, fertilizing, medicinal soaks, rehydrating, and doing “The Bonsai Shuffle”, but they are fairly indestructible.
While not technically MY purchase (it’s from a gift subscription), my newest ‘bonsai thing’ will have to serve as my purchase picture tax:View attachment 607120
