Looking good! There is a guy in our club that has a tree similar style to this. I’ve been thinking about seeing if Todd has any material that would be a good candidate for this style . So, that’s to say that I like what you’re doing with this.

Do you think that the foliage mass should eventually be smaller? I think it would make the trunk and overall image look more powerful if the foliage mass was smaller and more compact.

I am actually curious what you think lead to good growth for this tree? What did you fertilize with? Organic? Looks like pumice but did you water alot? Full sun? Do you have any plans to try and grow or graft roots on other side?

It’s good to be absolutely annihilated every now and then in fact I crave it in my career and form my bonsai teacher it’s good for grounding.. I guess it’s form when I played sports I purposely didn’t do stuff right sometimes just so I can hear feedback

Hmm I think time will tell it definitely won’t get longer I want more elaborate apex that’s gonna grow up more along w second branch .. the bottom branches I think it will be more compact as in the foliage wont extend out than it already is .. I foresee either a long rectangle that’s deep enough for the roots or a long long slab daddy

Spring growth on this one really pretty blue hue .. gonna be a good growth year
