So, I have obtained this random little juniper, I’m guessing it’s juniperus chinensis. Some workers were hacking away at some trees in the local cemetery. They were quite ruthless, I was walking up and down there for about an hour until I found this one little stick with everything required to survive.
Anyway, I found it with only 1 or 2 very long feeder roots. Should I trim away some foliage because of few roots? Also, which will be a good front?

No trimming at this point. Would cover the fresh scar with putty to reduce moisture loss during recovery. Mist frequently to keep up humidity.

@Riversedgebonsai I haven't seen putty around here, what sort of Mcguyver plan can I make?
Plumbers duct seal, children's plastercine, Vaseline, Best choice is something that will come off and not alter the natural torn look. There is also an adhesive foil used for duct work joints that would work well, Shiny reflective look though.

thanks, did some quick Googling, and nearly threw my laptop out the window when the article suggested toothpaste.

I wouldn’t honestly do anything but watch it and water it I’m sure it will be fine
