Dear Forum Members,

It has been glad to found a post from this forum that some people like the Kiku Bonsai Tools sold by Superfly Bonsai previously. We are the tools producer for helping Superfly Bonsai to develop and make all the Kiku Bonsai Tools since they started their business at many years ago, and ended the partnership when they cheated us of not paying to us after we sent so many pieces of the Kiku Tools and Kiku Saws to them..

We want to thank you very much for your kind support of the Kiku tools over the years. If you are still interested in buying the Kiku tools or Kiku Special Saws, we warmly welcome you to contact us for the purchase, thank you!

As always, top quality and competitive prices are guaranteed, thank you!

Best regards,

Eric Zhang

Good to know Eric.

If folks were interested, how would they contact you… vetted website/email/catalog link?

Also you mentioned on another thread Mauro S’s multipurpose bonsai tool(s) is available from him. Is this tool also available from your Factory? (See image below)

Hi Eric;

Are you selling direct to consumer - and do you have an online link to your store? Or are you working with another retailer?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our factory does not sell to the retailing customers directly.
But we have the wholesalers and retailers in different countries, which are good people. So please contact us if you are interested in the tools, then we would ask your local distributors to contact you for the supply of our goods, thank you!

Best regards,

Thank you Sir/Madam.

Yes, this Kiku Saw was made by our factory. After we ended the partnership with Andy Youtz from Superfly Bonsai and Treeigami Bonsai, we would not produce any piece of the Kiku tools again as the brand was registered by Superfly Bonsai. So we were giving all these saws away to our customers for free.

Also we have developed the upgraded version of this multi-purposes saw with the original designer Master Mauro Stemberger, so we are making a much better new one at now.

Please see our contact details as following, thank you!

A very nice introduction; let’s all agree to call it the first one.

that carving tool looks rad!

Thank you! If we knew this forum at the time when Andy Youtz told us he would not pay us any cent, then we would let all the members in this forum to go to his stall and get any KIKU tools for free. Because we made them, and he did not pay, so we still had the ownership of the tools.

Hey Eric, your website is not functioning yet, and may need some fixing:

- iPad browser: "view more" (when tapped) does nothing
- iPhone browser: "view more" never appears to begin with
- Desktop Chrome: "view more" does nothing (when clicked), javascript console shows many errors

The branding / pictures look great, but product details aren't accessible.

edit: let us know if you deploy fixes and I can try again

Thank you for telling MaciekA.

Over the last 20 years, our factory has developed & made over hundreds of different bonsai tools, so it would be a big project for us to put all our tools online. So we have decided to put only few tools on the website.

The tools we supplied to Superfly Bonsai with their logo Kiku were just small quantities from our portfolio.

Dear DSD,
Yes, we used to make this tool, but it is an old model.
And also, because Kiku was a brand registered by Andy Youtz, owner of Superfly Bonsai and Treeigami Bonsai. After Andy Youtz cheated us and still owed us money, so we have stop to produce any Kiku tools.
Also, we have worked for the great bonsai master Mauro Stemberger to developed the upgraded version of this saw with much better quality, so the old Kiku saw is no more in production, and we gave them to our customers and ppl who came to China for the bonsai events for free. So if any forum member come to China, please let us know and you could get one for free if we have them in stock. (we do not want to see any Kiku brand at now even we made all the tools).

Eric Zhang is a very honest and reputable individual and I have purchased considerable quantities of tools from him on a wholesale bases some years back. The tools blades tested on RC hardness as expected for high carbon tool steel and I have personally used a set for the past 20 yrs and frankly they have performed very well. ( I had been a Masakuni dealer in MI from 1973 until Masakuni started an alternate line called Futaba and later simply could not fill orders )
Currently I have a limited sets of them left and have not solicited sales here on Bnut.
If anyone is interested contact me and I will see what I still have as new OS.
Best to you Eric

Dear Vance,
Thank you for your reply, it is so kind of you, thank you!
Yes how time flies! It has been 20 years, we could still remember the first day when the customer brought the bonsai tools to us, and asked our factory to develop them.
Without all our customers' help, we could not get to the position as we are at now, so thank you!
We have been supplied our tools to many well-known bonsai masters worldwide, one thing we learnt from them is Doing the right thing to the tree (to us, it is our tools), and Do it right, then the time would tell.
We are sorry to hear about Masakuni's production, although we are now producing the Japanese quality tools with much cheaper cost, we think they should still stay in the market, as they are our role model.

Thank you very much for your reply again, Vance. It has been our honor to do business with you, thank you!

Best wishes,

Eric
