Hello everyone, my name is Jules, I am new to this forum and to the world of bonsai.
I have had a fake pepper plant since September, bought in a garden center. He was doing well so far, but I had to bring him to the countryside, or I stupidly left him outside for 5 days with temperatures far too low. I repotted it and a lot of the roots were dead (a long time ago I think), but unable to get a good substrate, I had to use classic potting soil, to which I added the little akadama that I had left ...
Its leaves have lost their shine, are much less green, and are drooping. Every day new leaves turn brown and fall off.
What do you think I should do?
I ordered akadama, pumice and pozzolana but they won't be arriving for another week ...

thank you in advance
Jules Rolland

Welcome to Crazy!

I think it's just sad you called it fake!

fake pepper plant

It just wants to be accepted!
Lol!

Don't feel bad.....these are set up to sell not for folks to be successful with.

Are you going to get more?

Haha wrong translation
I don't think so, I have a few others (hinoki, juniper) that live pretty well.
