I was taking a walk today and noticed a tree I pass by at least twice a week. Ohh look an Oak. I want an Oak in my collection. Anyway i have had less thay favorable results with cuttings and have never attempted an air layer. It is late in the growing season what should I do? There's some Burr Oak available at my local nursery under 15 dollars for two year old saplings ( I don't want deal with the giant leaves of a Burr ). I'm just rambling, most likely I will wait until spring and try some cuttings or search the nursery scene for an affordable White Oak. Here's some pics of the tree anyway
