Not sure what this tool is called, but the teacher in my class had one, and I really like to get one for my collection. Any ideas on where I can find one.
thank you in advance.IMG_5544.jpeg

Carving tools...I have the ones with the decorative metal handles. Nice heavy, quality tools...

I made up my own set. Bought the case from Jonas as well. FB_IMG_1747603552293.jpg

If you are wanting exactly like those with wooden handles. Look into carving tools. I've seen the wooden handled ones. I was looking for solid pieces...of one piece.

double flexcut. I took a few carving classes—I learned two things:

1) I don’t have the right kind of patience for wood carving
2) Flexcut makes damn good tools

Wow!! Those Flexcuts are nice
Also way cheaper than the tools I bought. 😉... there ya go for the win!

I still love mine. I love they are a solid one piece tool. Love the intricate details on the handles. I am a female though. I love the detail work found there. They also do have a weight to them. Which made me think well built. But...they are far more costly.

Yours are gravers and gouges. The OP was asking about knives.

Head tilt...yeah? Carving tools is how they were listed. Most peculiar. 🤔 poster asked about tools. I assumed...carving tools with the tips. Was what he was after. Again handles are not even remotely similar in shape.

I'll take your word for it. I do admire Jonas. I try and shop with him before I head elsewhere. I'll say that much. I got mine for cosmic design scarification. Mike Lane approved of my choices. As did Laurent. But as for terminology. I can only go with what others call things. Again...Jonas listed them under carving tools. Which...🤔 is a generic term I reckon.

A few of mine were listed as knives though. Screenshot_20250519_074904_Firefox.jpg
