Where I live there is a Platycladus orientalis, and I want to collect some, but It's autumm here in south america, no ideia when its the best time.

The best time to collect most species is late winter- early spring when you begin to see bud movement- means the tree is waking up and "committed". There are also windows in the summer dormancy if you have them and also early to mid fall but those times can be riskier.

As I live in USDA Zone 10a, I will give it a go now(early fall) and in late winter. Thanks!
