What should I do with this ficus?

I picked up this ficus recently, and the air roots were forming already. I feel like the leaves are really large and that the foliage is ready for canopy shaping, but maybe not. What do you guys think?

Trim it like a hedge to a basic shape that you like, let it grow out and do it again.
