I didn’t realize we were going to have a long cold night down to 28°F a few nights ago, and my large and small F. benjamina variegatas and Too Little took a hit. As of now the branches and trunks are still green and alive, but I do believe every leaf will get dropped from the damage. Can they come back from that? I assume I’ll end up losing most if not all the branches since they drop branches that lose all leaves? Is there any special care I should give them going forward to give them the best chance at recovery (besides keeping them inside when it freezes again and reducing watering since there won’t be transpiring leaves)?

They will likely be fine if you keep them out of the frost no inside in a bright humid location

Ficus can recover from frost damage, just like they can recover from complete defoliation. However they will struggle to recover from it twice in a row in a short period of time, so make sure you protect it until it has new foliage and is growing strongly again.
