Just curious what others use their sifted fines for?
I was thinking maybe for cuttings or mixing in with my cacti/succulent mix. I got an overfilled 5gal bucket I need to free up. All of it is APL.

I think a lot of people use it to make muck... but that's a lot of muck if you have 5 gallons of fines!!

I'd rather not have any fines in my cacti mix either. I haven't found much to do with the fines so I just dump them into the garden.

I saved some to make muck if I needed to. The rest I throw away

I saved fines for awhile but I never needed up using them for anything so I just threw them out. Even for seed starting, cuttings, etc I find there are better options than fines.

Try using for fine aggregate in a portand cement project.

I used mine for germinating a bunch of JBP seedlings. The smaller fines ended up in the yard...

I use the dust from the D E. around the base of my house to deter ants.
Any larger particles go in the mix.

I use mine as lawn supplement. The lawn gets walked on a lot, so the fines provide a nice airy top layer. Mix it into potting soil as well for annuals.

Fines are going in chicken coop as litter and then composted into soil for garden.
