Went to visit Matt Ouwinga today.

Had some time today so I made the 1 hr drive to visit Matt Ouwinga. Extremely nice guy and huge Japanese pot inventory along with a wonderful bonsai nursery. Ended up going home with 8 pots. I will be coming back now that I’ve been exposed to the quality of Japanese pots.

I used to drop in on Matt when he was in the Chicago area. Great pots. Nice guy, unfortunately, I can not drop in on him, its a full day + drive now.

The Japanese pot addiction is a huge and wonderful thing. There is so much to study and learn if you like that sort of thing. MattyO is one of the best things that happened to bonsai here, before him, good luck finding much affordable in that type of pot especially large ones. And he's such a super nice dude.
