Weird seeds from China

This story is strange enough that I thought it worth posting here, since we are all seedling nuts:

My friend works for the post office. They are seeing these come through. Another friend of mine...knows someone who actually had one arrive at her door. It's legit. Yet...no one is ordering them. Why are ones sending them here...and where are they getting random addresses from?

Thanks Greg @Bonsai Nut for posting this here. I had contemplated it. We are seed nuts. But...if you get seeds you didn't order, then be Leary for sure. Make sure to report it...and DO NOT open the unsealed pouch.

Also, @Bonsai Nut , those LOOK a little like some Kumquat seeds I ordered from China.. that turned out to be ornamental garden peas.



Yeeeah... don’t open those seeds.. well.. if you open them ()... soak the seeds and examine the “suspension” under a microscope...

Look up "brushing" and "scam"...It's a scam that uses bogus unsolicited shipments from an electronic seller, typically in Asia. The shipper then uses that bogus shipment for a fake favorable online review to make them look respectable...The crap they ship out is typically worthless...

Yes citrus of some kind.

And as we all know, once citrus seeds dry, they are dead. No such thing as cold stratification or soaking them to bring them back.
