Yeah tons of themI guess you made some drainage holes?
Yeah i believe it’s thatWhat's the Latin name bittersweet is the what we call woody nightshade (Solanum Dulcamara) over here in the U.K https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solanum_dulcamara
Over several years you uncover them bit by bit. But you just took yours from the ground. You need to offer it TLC care. Especially the root system. How are bonsai made like these ones ?
Oh like how some people do the coco fiber for root over rock . Also how are they shaped like the first picture(of the bonsai pics I posted)? Or is it found like that ?Over several years you uncover them bit by bit. But you just took yours from the ground. You need to offer it TLC care. Especially the root system.
People also use a plastic collar sleeve and remove a bit by bit. I just have a bit at the base I'm protecting now...with spaghnum moss at this point.

They do not produce woody trunks they die back to the ground in winter? might be a misidentification. The bonsai in the picture are made by exposing the roots same way you make a goji berry bonsai.Yeah i believe it’s that
Looked it up and it’s Solanum DulcamaraThey do not produce woody trunks they die back to the ground in winter? might be a misidentification. The bonsai in the picture are made by exposing the roots same way you make a goji berry bonsai.
there are lots of plants in the same family that are similar but Solanum Dulcamara wont make trunks it is a vine that dies off to the roots in winter the resprouts next year in spring (goji is in the nightshade family too)Looked it up and it’s Solanum Dulcamara
I don't think anyone means you can't show the roots later. But allow it to have a good growing season. Become established in a container. The longer they are covered the gnarlier they become by thickening too.I forgot to mention that it was on a side on a hill with the roots like that
