Want a bonsai friend :)

I would like to have a bonsai friend. Where we can call each other over phone and offer help with one another. ( no homo) lol. Talk about bonsais on the phone. Gain knowledge together./send pics over phone./ facetime our plants together, etc. This forum is cool and all. But Im a personable guy. I find it a lot more effective to talk other than post something and wait for some one to respond with an answer that doesn't even fullfill my expecations. I will provide by number. But any one who is willing to provide thiers to simply offer help as a friend to a fellow bonsaian please shoot me a personal conversation post with your number. Thank you!

That would be the best route...finding ones to help mentor you close near you. No sense of guessing tones in text when you will hear them first hand. I think you will grow leaps and bounds by joining...as well as getting first hand knowledge for your climate.

Nwaite, talking to somebody can help you to save a tree. Pictures and voice can't do everything. If you want more help or motivation, or simply know how and why...meeting bonsai friends is the only way.

If you want to talk bonsai send me a pm with a phone number and a good time to call. I live in a completely different climate than you but we can talk about bonsai in general and talk about the people here.
There are a couple members here that live in California.
Colin Frasier,Smoke,Bonsai Bob Presley to name a few. Pm them and see what they reply. The worst they can do is ignore you. But I doubt it.

I agree with you 100% . I would much rather talk to someone then type any day .I have a hard time with typing and spelling in general so it's hard to fully express my self. But I would want to do it face to face. I'm just plane wird on the phone and hate it.
