Update thread on shimpaku juniper in Canada

Hello all, about a month ago I bought a shimpaku juniper from a bonsai nursery and repotted it that day as it was in a very small rock planter and was severely root bound.

A month later and it's doing very well. Just watered it today and noticed the shoots are extending a little longer. Decided to add some sumo cakes fertilizer to it today. I haven't done any pruning on it, just planning to let it grow and get healthy before the cold Canadian winter. I might wire it this fall but haven't decided yet.

The first three pics below are when I bought it, the rest are today.

I will continue to update this thread over the next few years periodically to document the progress of this tree
